We pride ourselves as the door opening experts, not simply a construction material supplier. We are currently seeking a warehouse associate to join our team at our Dallas,TX Location! This position is scheduled Monday -Friday 7am – 3:30pm with occasional overtime required.
Wage: $20.00 - $25.00 (Based on experience)
Summary/Objective
This position receives, stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
Essential Functions
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders with sales orders, and distributing materials to the appropriate sales team members for processing.
- Review customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to identify items that need to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
- Move materials and products from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated locations.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established sequences, including size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Process requisitions, work orders, and requests for materials, tools, or other inventory items, and distribute them to shipping or designated route-driver storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, accessible, and safe warehouse environment for team members and customers.
- Assemble customer orders from inventory and place them on pallets or shelves, or move them to designated holding or shipping areas.
- Label materials using the appropriate identification methods.
- Open bales, crates, and other containers safely and efficiently.
- Accurately record materials and inventory received or distributed using the appropriate computer system.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory-control activities.
- Perform facility maintenance duties as assigned.
- Complete requisition forms to request supplies from other departments.
- Prepare parcels and materials for mailing or shipping.
- Sweep, dust, and mop as needed to maintain a clean work environment.
- Keep the warehouse and individual work areas organized and orderly at all times.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment and follow established safety procedures.

Work Environment
This position is primarily based in a warehouse environment, with occasional outdoor exposure throughout the workday. The role regularly requires the use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and photocopiers, as well as warehouse tools such as hand trucks, box cutters, and tape dispensers.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing job duties, the team member is regularly required to reach with their hands and arms and communicate effectively through speaking and hearing. The team member is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and occasionally sit, climb, or balance. The team member must regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds, with assistance as needed.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience.
