Our family-owned and operated company is currently seeking a Talent and Leadership Development Director to join our team at our Prairieville Location!
Job Description
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Talent & Leadership Development Lead to join our growing organization. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling comprehensive talent development programs that align with our business objectives and support our company's growth trajectory.
Job Responsibilities
- Drives employee engagement and retention efforts.
- Identifies and supports emerging leaders.
- Strengthens and evolves company culture.
- Manages Himmel’s U and Himmel’s Academy learning initiatives.
- Supports compliance training across departments.
- Designs and executes listening strategies (i.e., surveys, focus groups, and stay interviews).
- Promotes a culture of growth mindset and continuous feedback.
- Manages leadership assessments(i.e., DiSC) and related tools.
Qualifications
- Experience in onboarding design and execution.
- Skilled in succession planning and identifying emerging leaders.
- Proficient in talent mapping and bench strength assessment.
- Knowledge of learning technology platforms and administrations.
- Experience developing, delivering,and evaluating training programs.
- Ability to design and implement listening strategies, including surveys and focus groups.
- Strong focus on fostering a growth mindset and feedback-driven culture.
- Proven ability to support and evolve company culture.
- Experience providing executive coaching and mentoring.
- Effective facilitation and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align talent strategy to organizational goals.
- Competent in project and change management.
Preferred Qualification
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Experience with DiSC, or similar assessment tools
- Experience in high-growth or scaling organizations
- Background in adult learning principles
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in talent development, organizational development, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience managing talent development or programs
