Welcoming our new Vice President of Business Development, Daniel Gills
Himmel’s Architectural Door & Hardware is excited to announce that Daniel Gills has joined the company as Vice President of Business Development. Daniel spent the past 12 years in regional and national leadership roles with ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions, where he was responsible for sales, marketing, and business development activities. During his tenure at ASSA ABLOY, Daniel led the brand and product strategy for Yale Commercial Lock & Hardware. He also developed and implemented new sales strategies and operations programs, resulting in successful growth of ASSA ABLOY’s market share within the highly competitive new construction and aftermarket customer segments.
As a member of the executive leadership team at Himmel’s, Daniel will be responsible for developing and supervising sales strategy and execution, establishing and maintaining customer and vendor partnerships, and building a sales team to further Himmel’s mission and reputation for providing best-in-class product solutions and services. Himmel’s Architectural Door & Hardware has expanded rapidly in recent years by utilizing innovative methods to supply new and existing customers with highly customizable options that are designed to streamline and optimize ordering, installation, and maintenance of commercial doors and hardware in order to meet the needs and specifications of any project. Daniel will work primarily from Himmel’s Nashville, Tennessee location, but will be responsible for related operations across all locations as the company reaffirms its focus on securing long-term success and profitability for every member of the Himmel’s team.
