Contract Administrator / Notary

Himmel’s is a growing organization with locations in New Orleans, Prairieville, Houston, and Nashville. We pride ourselves as the door opening experts, not simply a construction material supplier. Our family owned and operated company is seeking a Contract Administrator / Notary to join our team at our Prairieville location.

The Contract Administrator / Notary position is responsible for reviewing all company contracts.
Job Responsibilities
- · Read and review/revise/mark-up all contracts for the company according to company standards
- · Collaborate with Project Managers for project updates (contract and change order updates)
- · Set up new projects and customers into the enterprise system
- · Electronic filing, release lien waivers, and complete special projects as needed
- · Notarize all legal documents for company
- · Backup for Accounts Receivable and Contract Controller, when necessary.
- · Provide administrative support to CFO and accounting department when necessary
- · Back up for daily credit card deposits using specialized industry software
- · Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge – proficiency in Excel is a plus

Requirements
- · Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma
- · Notary Public
- · 2-3 years of experience
- · Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team
- · Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills and a positive and helpful demeanor
- · Ability to routinely lift and move objects weighing up to 10 lbs
- · Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens
