Our family owned and operated company is seeking a Contract Administrator / Notary to join our team at our Prairieville location.

The Contract Administrator / Notary position is responsible for reviewing all company contracts.

Job Responsibilities

  • · Read and review/revise/mark-up all contracts for the company according to company standards
  • · Collaborate with Project Managers for project updates (contract and change order updates)
  • · Set up new projects and customers into the enterprise system
  • · Electronic filing, release lien waivers, and complete special projects as needed
  • · Notarize all legal documents for company
  • · Backup for Accounts Receivable and Contract Controller, when necessary.
  • · Provide administrative support to CFO and accounting department when necessary
  • · Back up for daily credit card deposits using specialized industry software
  • · Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge – proficiency in Excel is a plus

  • · Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma
  • · Notary Public
  • · 2-3 years of experience
  • · Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team
  • · Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills and a positive and helpful demeanor
  • · Ability to routinely lift and move objects weighing up to 10 lbs
  • · Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens
