Himmel’s is a growing organization with locations in Nashville, New Orleans, Prairieville, and Houston. We pride ourselves as the door opening experts, not simply a construction material supplier. Our family owned and operated company is seeking a Contract Billing Clerk to join our team at our Prairieville location.

The Contract Billing Specialist position is responsible for maintaining the documents, billing and balancing of all projects until completion.

Job Responsibilities

·        Post daily credit card deposits using specialized industry software.

·        Audit projects to include processing billing and invoices.

·        Review and revise contracts.

·        Scan and file electronic copies of delivery tickets, packing slips, etc.

·        Collaborate with Project Managers for project updates.

·        Electronic filing, release lien waivers, and complete special projects as needed.

·        Set up new projects into the computer system.

·        Back up for Accounts Receivable and Contract Controller, when necessary.  

·        Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Requirements

·        Must be at least 18 years of age.

·        3 years Billing experience.

·        1-year Accounting experience.

·        Advanced proficiency with Excel software.

·        Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team.

·        Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills and a positive and helpful demeanor.

·        Ability to routinely lift and move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.

·        Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens.
