Our family owned and operated company is seeking a Billing Specialist to join our team in Prairieville, LA.
The Billing Specialist position is responsible for maintaining the documents, billing and balancing of all projects until completion.
Job Responsibilities
- Complete invoicing and processing monthly pay applications using industry-specific software.
- Submit billings through multiple customer websites.
- Scan and file electronic copies of all project-related documents.
- Communicate with Project Managers and customers regarding updates on all projects.
- Conduct project audits.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and Contract Controller tasks when necessary.
- Proficiently utilize Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, & Outlook).

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 3 years Billing experience.
- 1-year Accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel software.
- Ability to effectively perform in an advanced, fast-paced environment both individually as well as part of a team.
- Needs to be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, strong communication skills and a positive and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to routinely lift and move objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screen and successfully complete random screens.
